Our story

Led by purpose and possibility

The idea for ParentSquare was born in 2011 when our founder Anu, a computer engineer and parent, saw how much easier it was to stay connected to her children’s school while at home. She set out to make that connection possible for every family.

With the help of early school partners, ParentSquare grew from a handful of schools to what is now the preferred solution for millions of students and their families. Today, we’re motivated by the same purpose that inspired us all those years ago: to bring schools and families together so students are better prepared for the future.
